We know that Jesus loves children.
He said, “Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10:14)
At Cornerstone Baptist Church, we love children also, and believe it is very important to minister to them and give them an opportunity to come to Jesus. We have several children’s ministries through which we share the love of Jesus Christ to children and teach them the precious truths of the Bible on a level they can understand. Caring, capable, and dedicated workers are here to minister to your child.
Junior Church
During the Worship Service on Sunday mornings, children up to age 10 have the opportunity to participate in their own church service. This program is run by dedicated volunteers from our church who teach the children a Bible lesson and have other pertinent activities.
Cornerstone Kids for Christ
Held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, during the school year, “Kids Club” is 90 minutes loaded with excitement!
The weekly schedule includes:
- Action-packed games (held outside when weather permits, inside during the winter)
- Snack time
- Songs
- Scripture Memory
- Message of truth from the Bible
Other activities include a monthly craft and theme/dress-up nights.
There is transportation available, depending on your location.
Your child will love Kids Club and we would love to have them come!

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights of the year for us at Cornerstone Baptist Church!
Much planning, preparation and prayer goes into this annual event.
Vacation Bible School is held for one week in August from 9 am to Noon, Monday through Friday, with a closing program and carnival on Friday night.
We have a large number of children from the community and surrounding area who come to VBS each year and many who come year after year. The children love VBS so much that their parents don’t want them to miss it! Plan on sending your child this coming August!
Nursery
During all of our church services, we have a nursery available for babies and toddlers.
Caring nursery workers will look after these little ones, play with them, and meet their needs while their parents enjoy the church service.
Other ministries include: Soul-winning and Visitation, Ladies Bible study, Choir and Special Music, as well as special events from time to time throughout the year.
